my father, Maurice Walter Goodwin, and all the people who helped him,
my grandfather John (Jack) Leary, and his correspondents, mainly relating to Parker
my mum, Kathy, who has added in the Leary element.

Their books and articles are in the Reference section

The credit goes to them, who did the hard work in times when personal computers, and spreadsheets and gedcoms let alone e-mail and the web didn't exist.

While this is carefully researched, the reader shouldn't take anything for granted, and check sources. Having done the data entry and being fallible too, I'd echo that!
